Frontier’s fantastic zoo builder and management game Planet Zoo is getting another paid DLC, coming in together with a free update like the usual.
The Africa Pack will be adding more animals, more scenery pieces inspired by the architecture of North Africa and a new timed scenario.
There will be four habitat animals and one exhibit animal, the Sacred Scrab Bettle.
The full list of animals coming to the Africa Pack DLC are as follows:
- Meerkat
- Fennec Fox
- African Penguin
- Southern White Rhinoceros
- Sacred Scarab Beetle (exhibit animal)
Alongside the Africa Pack DLC is a free update that will bring improvements to behaviours, habitat webcams and a free Timed Scenario set in Guatemala. Instead of buying animals from the Trade Center, you’ll be gifted animals on a timer, so you’ll have to adapt your zoo to accommodate them on the fly.
More details of the free update can be found here.
The previous DLC pack brought more animals from Southeast Asia (which we have some mixed feelings about due to our familiarity with the region), but hopefully, the devs get this one right.
Planet Zoo Africa Pack DLC will arrive on June 22 on PC (Steam) alongside the free 1.6 update.
