The list of delivery games continue to expand. Cargo, Please! is a new driving delivery game by solo developer Cyber752 Games and publisher Indie.io. As a delivery truck driver, you’re here to pick up cargo and make that cargo, and car, go. Deliveries either have tight deadlines to meet or some unexpected complications to the job. But the goal for each procedurally generated delivery job is the same: get that car go to the destination with the cargo intact. Please.
The delivery truck can be upgraded and customised. The teaser trailer showed you can put monster truck wheels on your truck because why not. There’s also Taxi Mode where you deliver people instead of cargo.
Cargo, Please! is supposed to be “lighthearted, cosy and cartoony” in its tone, with twists. But the trailer shows more of a relaxed pace rather than something frantic like a Crazy Taxi.
If you love the idea of another Easy Delivery Co.-like game, but maybe less spooky, and with a brighter, cartoony and cosy vibe, maybe Cargo Please! will please you.
Cargo, Please! has no release date yet, but it’s coming to PC (Steam). A demo is available.
