The first feature in Control’s post-launch roadmap has arrived. Photo Mode is now available in the latest update (1.04) to Remedy’s excellent thriller shooter.
As detailed on the Playstation Blog, Photo Mode is accessed by pausing the game in the options menu. Features are what you’d expect- there are filters, the ability to remove all NPCs or all characters, play around with the FOV, Focus distance and aperture settings. You get the idea.
It’s a small feature, but given how beautiful those stark, brutalist architecture of the Oldest House, and the ominous geometrical shapes and red colour it can have due to the corruption of the Hiss, it’s just nice to get to snap the perfect snapshot. Imagine also a snap during the intense combat sections where Jesse is flinging objects around.
Control is out now on PS4 (including PS Store Asia), PC (Epic Games Store) and Xbox One.
