Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) has always been toe-to-toe in the realm of football games with EA’s FIFA. Though PES always lack the license power its competitor has it makes up for its more refined gameplay- both points being improved upon with this year’s outing.
PES 2019 promises that “new, fully licensed leagues are coming to PES 2019,” though has yet to disclose what new league will that be. We do know that PES has lost the UEFA license it held exclusively for almost a decade, however.
On the gameplay side is where we will see the most changes. 11 new skill traits such as edge turn, no look pass and dipping shot has been added- increasing the counts of the these unique skills only seen in the best players to 39. Dribbling animation is more fluid, more variations to the reactions after a ball shoots and Visible Fatigue, a reworked stamina system which will translate will make you easy to spot tired players to sub out. Quick substitutions will also be added.
PES 2019 will also support 4K and HDR, better lighting and also snow as a weather option.
PES 2019 will be out on PS4, PC and Xbox One on August 30th.
