PC Game Pass Now Available In 40 More Countries

Xbox is now ready to go live with expanding PC Game Pass offering to 40 more countries.

Unlike last year’s PC Game Pass expansion which specifically targets Southeast Asia countries, this wave covers countries from Europe, Africa and the Americas.

All 40 countries, similar to the Southeast Asia expansion, previously have no official support for Xbox products and services.

The full list is as follows:

  • Albania
  • Algeria
  • Bahrain
  • Bolivia
  • Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • Bulgaria
  • Costa Rica
  • Croatia
  • Cyprus
  • Ecuador
  • Egypt
  • El Salvador
  • Estonia
  • Georgia
  • Guatemala
  • Honduras
  • Iceland
  • Kuwait
  • Latvia
  • Libya
  • Liechtenstein
  • Lithuania
  • Luxembourg
  • Malta
  • Moldova
  • Montenegro
  • Morocco
  • Nicaragua
  • North Macedonia
  • Oman
  • Panama
  • Paraguay
  • Peru
  • Qatar
  • Romania
  • Serbia
  • Slovenia
  • Tunisia
  • Ukraine
  • Uruguay

Each country has its own local pricing, so check this link here to see the price as offered.

Players who signed up for the Insider Program- the beta test- will receive two months of PC Game Pass for free, it is automatically added.

With this launch, Xbox is now present in 87 countries. Despite being a globally recognised brand, Xbox barely has any reach outside of the US and Western Europe. This recent expansion alone has more or less doubled the brand’s availability globally.

Still, at least Xbox has finally made the effort to reach out to the rest of the world.

How long until Xbox will actually officially sell more consoles around the world? Maybe a bit longer. Xbox has announced it will be officially selling the Xbox Wireless Controllers in more countries in Southeast Asia this year, so that’s something.
