Now this is a mark of confidence. The Seoul, South Korea franchise of the Overwatch League has revealed its official name, the Seoul Dynasty.
“Seoul is the birthplace of modern-day esports and holds a significant place in history, in addition to being the long-standing capital of the Joseon Dynasty and modern-day Korea,” said Seoul Dynasty owner Kevin Chou. “We have a tremendous responsibility to represent the best of Seoul on a global
stage.”
The Seoul Dynasty is also fielding a very strong and proven roster in the form of Lunatic-Hai. They were dominant forces last year at APAC Premier and has since became OGN Apex winners in Season 2 and 3.
The team will be brandishing the black and and gold colours, with a stylised tiger as their logo.
The preseason matches for the Overwatch League will commence on December 6 featuring all 12 teams. The inaugural season will kick off on January 10 2018.
