Omensight Is Part Character Action, Part Choose-Your-Own-Adventure And Part Murder Mystery, Out Now

Go cancel the apocalypse, from the developers of Stories: The Path Of Destinies

Did you managed to claim Stories: The Path Of Destinies when it was available for free on Steam? Or maybe months back when it was available as a free PS Plus game? If you enjoyed what you’ve played, the developers Spearhead Games already has a follow-up to it.

Called Omensight, it’s an all-new anthropomorphic world with a new story. The gameplay should be familiar- the combat feels like a character action game and there’s branching paths in the story- but with some refinements.

You now play as The Harbinger, a mythical warrior that appears at the last of day before the destruction of the world. You need to prevent this from happening and it starts with you investigating a murder. You also have the power to repeat the same last day over and over from a different perspective each time as you find more clues on how to prevent world destruction.

So rather than the straightforward routes to choose at the end of a level in Stories, the routes are now unravelled through a murder mystery. Omensight still has character action-style combat, however, and looks as good as Stories.

Omensight is out now for the PS4 and PC via Steam, Humble Store and Fanatical. On Steam, it is only RM39.
