Acer has announced not only a new line within the Predator Neo and Orion marquee, but also have a new Predator Monitor, and Nitro Portable Display as part of their “The Predator Kasi Onz” Roadshow that’s happening at Sunway Pyramid from now until 17 May.
The new Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 laptop now comes with an Intel Core i7 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 that compliments its incredible IPS 16-inch screen that’s also include WQXGA+ display resolution, with an expected 180Hz refresh rate, and with only 3ms of response time recorded. It’s 5th gen AeroBlade 3D fans keeps it all cool thanks to its CoolBoost Technology and getting that audio support from Audio DTS: X Ultra.
Then on the Desktop side is the Acer Predator Orion 5000 that combines an Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor 265F and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU, to ensure it delivers solid performance for demanding games and even the most intense works. It features the Predator CycloneX 360 cooling system to optimize airflow and improve heat dissipation. With 32GB DDR5 6000 XMP MHz RAM, (upgradable up to 128GB) and a 1TB SSD storage with additional expansion support for SATA and M.2 SSD, plus with Wi-Fi 7 inside, it’s definitely a machine for future proofing.
Then we have the Acer Predator XB273U X2, the latest 27-inch QHD gaming monitor that features an overclocked 210Hz refresh rate and a rapid 0.5ms response time, along with the DCI-P3 90% Wide Color Gamut for the best viewing for gaming or even streaming.
The most curious out of the this is the Acer Nitro PG241Y P1, the first 23.8-inch portable gaming monitor in our shores, with a 144Hz refresh rate visuals from it’s 1080P IPS Display that’s also has Nvidia G-Sync compatibility for something that’s made for On-the-go, all connected via it’s single USB-C cable.
