More and more video games are continuing to be vessels for a music album, and it’s an interesting trend to see. And here’s one from All In! Games: Of Bird And Cage.
Of Bird And Cage is a two-hour-long narrative game where you play as Gitta Barbot, as she tries to escape from being imprisoned by her captor Bres Lupus. The story is inspired by Beauty Of The Beast, but with drug addiction, murder and a metal soundtrack.
Speaking of, Of Bird And Cage is primarily a full metal album composed by Arnold Nesis. The gameplay here serves as a novel way to experience the album.
Of Bird And Cage has a number of featured artists, with the leading roles played by Kobra Paige (Kobra and the Lotus) as Gitta and Davidavi ‘Vidi’ Dolev (Gunned Down Horses) as Bres.

Of Bird And Cage will be out on May 20 on PC (Steam). There’s also DLC for the full soundtrack (essentially the album release), to be available on the same date.
