New The Sims 4 Update Adds 100+ New Skin Tones, New Customisation Sliders

The Sims 4 has now been updated and will now give you more freedom in creating the Sim you want with just the right kind of skin tone. There’s 100+ new skin tones being added, each can be further fine tuned with the new customisation slider.

The new customisation slider can also be used on select makeup styles as well.

Three of the hairstyles already available in the base game has been updated as well.

The update comes from members of the Sims community asking for better representation, especially for people of colour. More customisation options are always welcomed, so good on The Sims dev team for making this free update.

This update, which also updates how the main menu looks like, is now live on PC as well as on PS4 and Xbox One. You can check out the patch notes here.
