PlayStation has revealed the timing on when its all-new PlayStation Plus subscription tiers will be live.

Asia (that’s the rest of Asia excluding Japan) will be getting first dibs, with a target launch date on May 23.

Japan will be next in line, on June 1, followed by the Americas (June 13) and Europe (June 22).

In addition, PlayStation has confirmed more counties in Europe will be getting the cloud streaming service formerly known as PS Now (it’s now part of PS Plus Premium). The countries are:

  • Bulgaria
  • Croatia
  • Czech Republic
  • Greece
  • Hungary
  • Malta
  • Poland
  • Republic of Cyprus
  • Romania
  • Slovakia
  • Slovenia

The new PlayStation Plus subscription will be moving to a three-tier service. The current PS Plus subscription will now be labelled as PS Plus Essential. The next tier, PS Plus Extra, adds ” a catalogue of up to 400 games”.

The most expensive tier is either called PS Plus Premium (for countries with cloud game streaming) or PS Plus Deluxe, which adds an additional library of classic games from previous PlayStation generations.
