The new Forza Motorsport, simply titled Forza Motorsport, has been slowly revealing its list of tracks available at launch. Developer Turn 10 is also committed to bringing more cars and tracks, for free, post-launch.
Ahead of Gamescom 2023, to demonstrate that, it has been revealed that the much-fabled German course, the Nürburgring Nordschleife will only be added to Forza Motorsport (2023) in Spring 2024.
Nürburgring Nordschleife, the Green Hell as some have called it, is a gargantuan 20.83km filled with epic turns, ridiculous height changes, and two Carousell turns and one ridiculously long back straight. Lap time records are in the six-minute range, when most tracks would be about two minutes per lap.
In gamer parlance, this is the end boss of any sim racer. And unfortunately, the end boss is only getting added a few months after. Which is fair, more time for people to practice racing cleanly in the revamped multiplayer mode before being thrown the gauntlet.
The good news is, the Nürburgring GP track will be included at launch. So technically Nürburgring is in the game, but not the Nordschleife layout.
17 off a list of the initial 20 tracks (not counting layout changes) has been revealed so far. This includes real-life circuits which include Mugello Circuit and Road America, to fictional/fantasy tracks like Eaglerock Speedway and Grand Oak Raceway.
A full list of revealed circuits can be found here.
Forza Motorsport (2023) will be out on October 10 for the Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam, Microsoft Store).
