Monster Hunter Wilds will be launching at the end of this month, but to satiate the wait, Capcom is hosting another Open Beta Test for everyone to get their hands on the upcoming monster hunting action RPG.
Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta Test 2 will commence in this and next weekend. So you have two weekends to test the Open Beta Test 2.
The two sessions will go live from February 7 11 AM Malaysia Time (+8 GMT) to February 10, 10.59 AM, and then from February 14 to 17, same time.
That being said, this round of Open Beta Test won’t include planned balance and performance changes announced on the livestream here. Those will be implemented in the full release, so the beta will play a bit different from what the actual game will turn out.
The Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta Test 2 will include that ability to hunt down Arkveld, Wild’s flagship monster, as well as returning monster Gypceros. There’s also an option to use the Base Camp’s Training Area, Private Lobbies or go into online single-player mode.
Features from the previous beta test (character creator with the ability to transfer data to the full release, a few story missions, free-roaming hunts, cross-play) will be available in this beta.
On PC, Capcom released a benchmark tool to see if your setup is ready for the Wilds.
Monster Hunter Wilds will be out on February 28 for the PS5, PC and Xbox Series X|S.
