Malaysians, Go Snag Rare Capcom Merch At Pop-Up Store Event At LaLaport

Malaysian gamers, Capcom fans in particular, now’s your chance to grab some merchandise from the fabled publisher right here in the country. If you can be in KL within the four-days of this limited-time pop-up store, that is.

Hosted by Justdan, the Capcom Pop-Up Store will make an appearance at LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre from April 17-20. This is a follow-up to a similar pop-up store appearance in Taiwan, but more importantly, it’s the first event here in Malaysia.

The Capcom Pop-Up Store is a rare chance for Malaysians to grab hold of various merchandise and collectibles as available from the Capcom Store in Japan, without having to pay shipping costs.

The selection is limited, however. But hey, now’s your chance to purchase collectible goods based on various Capcom franchises, featuring Dante From The Devil May Cry Series.

No really, they turned Dante into a marketable plushie.

Whilst this engagement is done via another party, Capcom is also engaging with gamers in Singapore with multiple collaborations with restaurants in the country to promote its latest release, Monster Hunter Wilds.

The publisher is also a regular exhibitor at Gamescom Asia, which this year will be moving from Singapore to Thailand as Gamescom Asia X Thailand Game Show 2025.

It’s nice to see video game publishers are actively engaging with gamers in Southeast Asia through engagements like this. More recently, Nintendo is making an even bigger presence in SEA as they will be bringing in online services to select countries in the region alongside its new console, the Nintendo Switch 2.
