2K has announced that the remake for the original Mafia will be delayed from the original date of August 28 to September 25.
“Though we’d originally planned to release the game one month earlier on August 28, finalizing everything in time for that launch date has become increasingly challenging due to the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic, and the last thing we want to do is compromise the quality of the experience,” the statement from the press release reads.
The good news is we will get to see more of Mafia: Definitive Edition in a gameplay reveal scheduled for July 22. This should be more than the small teaser at the PC Gaming Show we’ve seen. Hopefully.
Here’s a snippet of what to expect:
Mafia: Definitive Edition will now launch on September 25 for the PS4, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) and Xbox One.
