Listen To The New Battle Theme Of Persona 4 Revival: “Prime Time Golden Hour Show” Now Available With Official Lyrics

You may heard portions of the new battle theme for Persona 4 Revival, the remake to 2008 RPG by Atlus, but now there’s a clean upload from an official source, with official lyrics.

“Prime Time Golden Hour Show” now has an official lyrics video, with the song itself now released on all music streaming services.

Composed by Atlus Sound Team with vocals by Shiori Sasaki, “Prime Time Golden Hour Show” has its lyrics in English, but not in a way native English speaker would have written it.

Arguably, that is the charm of the original Persona 4 soundtrack where it mixes J-Rock and J-Pop music styles with English lyrics that don’t feel coherent when read, but it’s fun to sing along to. Ther unique accent Japanese singers bring when singing English songs can hit different.

With the official lyrics from the official lyrics video, we now know for sure that there are indeed straight-up made-up words in “Prime Time Golden Hour Show,” rather than a case of accented singing.

This is specifically referring to the pre-chorus bars of “I’m dangerous, contagiourous, voraciourous, rizzing up the mind, audaciourous, victorious, tonight.” It might be an interesting choice of words being made up, but the bars just flow when you sing it—it’s totally congruous. Congruciourous, if you would.

When Atlus remade Persona 3 as Persona 3 Reload, they also composed a new battle theme. The official upload on YouTube had since racked up 135,000,000 views.

Atlus also announced that there will be an official upload for “Reach Out To The Truth -Revival-,” a new rendition of Persona 4’s original battle theme: “Reach Out To The Truth.” Not that that song needs clarification on lyrics, but it’s nice for fans to be able to stream these songs through official channels as they wait for Persona 4 Revival’s release.

Previously, Atlus revealed new character bios, some screenshots and one new gameplay element coming to Persona 4 Revival.

Persona 4 Revival will launch on February 18 on PS5, PC (Steam, Microsoft Store) and Xbox Series X|S.
