School’s not starting yet apparently in the Wizarding World. Warner Bros.’s and Avalanche Software’s open-world RPG Hogwarts Legacy won’t be released this year after all.
A new tweet announced what’s essentially a delay. The game is now slated for release on February 10, 2023 for the PS4, PS5, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
The game is, surprisingly, still slated for release on the Nintendo Switch. Though the Switch version will be released at a later date.
Previously, PlayStation hosted an entire State Of Play broadcast dedicated to showing gameplay of magical wizards in training, with a target release of Holiday 2022.
This is just one of many big-budget games previously targeting a release later this year delayed to early 2023, following Forspoken and Marvel’s Midnight Suns.
