Valve Software has locked in a date for the release of Half-Life: Alyx. It’s the first Half-Life entry for years, and an entirely VR experience.
The game takes place during before the events of Half-Life 2 and you play as Alyx Vance as you mount a resistance against the Combine.
Before this, we knew that Half-Life: Alyx will be out in March. Valve has since tweeted out the release date: March 23rd.
(Note: Malaysia, like recent Steam releases, will be one day later: so it’s March 24th).

Half-Life: Alyx supports a variety of VR headsets (Valve Index owners get the game for free) and VR setups- you can play this seated or as a room-scale experience, with or without VR controllers.
This also means all the Half-Life games, which is free for everyone on Steam to play right now, will stop on March 23rd. Valve is letting everyone play the past titles in the lead-up to Half-Life: Alyx.
Half-Life: Alyx will be out on March 23rd on PC via Steam.
