Looks like everything is back to normal when it comes to Gran Turismo 7 updates. The last two months were an anomaly where developer Polyphony Digital skipped a month only to provide an update early in the next month which added an ambulance.
A new update is coming today, the last Thursday of the month, and you guessed it, it comes with three new cars.
And that’s it. Doesn’t seem to be any new tracks.
Update 1.38 will add three new cars, all of them hatchbacks, two new Extra Menus (car-collecting objectives with a reward), and new Scapes for Photo Mode.
On the bright side, the cars are cool. We’re getting the latest Civic, the one souped-up Civic to won a GT Award at SEMA, and a new racing car.
Plus, if you didn’t score the ambulance or the GR Corolla previously, it should be added to Brands Central for regular purchase.
Gran Turismo 7 September 2023 New Cars

- Honda Civic Type R ’22 – Brands Central
- MAZDA3 Gr.4 – Brands Central
The new Scapes are themed around Nissan’s factories.
