At the June 2025 PlayStation State Of Play broadcast, PlayStation announced the next State Of Play. It will be dedicated solely on Sucker Punch’s upcoming open world adventure, Ghost Of Yōtei.
We’ve seen very little about new Ghost game, the follow-up to 2020’s Ghost Of Tsushima. What we know so far is the setting and timeframe (17th century set up north in the mountainous regions of Hokkaido, near Mt. Yōtei), the protagonist Atsu and her desire for revenge, and some glimpses of gameplay.
With Death Stranding 2 releasing this month, Ghost of Yōtei is the last big PlayStation Studios title for the year. We should see more of Yōtei as we inch closer to October.
In other news, PlayStation announced its next big game, Marvel Tōkun Fighting Souls, a 4v4 fighting game developed by Arc System Works.
