Futuristic Arcade Racer Antigraviator Launches On PC June 6th

Another futuristic arcade racer ala Wipeout? Oh yes please. There’s plenty of these anti-gravity racers to go around on PC right now, highlights include Redout and the newly released Trailblazers, but add one more to the list.

Antigraviator is as the name implies, an anti-gravity racer focusing on swooping tracks on exotic locations travelling on ridiculously ludicrous speeds. It’s the first game by new developers Cybernetic Walrus.

Interestingly, the game is powered by the Unity Engine. It sure is a showcase for the low-entry game engine that unfortunately have a bad rap, but in the right hands it can make games look gorgeous, at 4K and 60fps. All the ships, called Gravs, are customisable. There are power-ups and boosts to pick up on track- whch includes the use of environmental traps, something we haven’t seen prominent use since the fantastic racer Split/Second back in 2010.

It also features online and local split-screen multiplayer up to four people, as seen in the leading image here.

Have a look at the launch trailer:

Antigraviator is set for a PC release first on June 6th, with a release on PS4 and Xbox One sometime this year.
