Fortnite’s Battle Royale: Perfect For Gamers Who Can’t Afford PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds

If you’re a gamer who loves extreme survival game that involves real players but can’t afford PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), Fortnite is the perfect choice for you. The major reason for this is obviously because the game, Fortnite, a free-to-play game, has recently announced a new mode which is massively similar with PUBG and it’s called the Battle Royale mode.

Fornite is known to be a game that puts players in a reasonable area to build towers and defensive buildings in order to survive from waves of destructive enemies. This can also be done by teaming up with other players and start working together as a team to take on a greater number of vicious monsters. The monsters have another thing in common aside from sharing the same goal of killing the players, hideous looks. They are so hideous that you might rather die than live to witness them charging toward you with their hideous physical features.

However, Fortnite did not get most of the attention it’s getting now from being a tower defense-style game alone. After the game introduced the new Battle Royale mode, players from around the world began to dig into the game and find the mode to be as addictive and competitive as PUBG. Although the new Battle Royale mode is based on the on the smash hit Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds, nobody complains about it being a counterfeit version of PUBG because it’s free for everyone to access and has unique graphics.

Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode engages 100 players to sit in a bus that floats in the air until they are ready to be launched into the ground when the timer ends. Instead of using a regular parachute to land on any places on the map, you will use either two of these fancy technological landing machines. They may not exist in the real world but it’s just fascinating to watch your character slowly slipping down to the ground with such creatively made parachute that you’d never think it to be possible to fly down with.

Unlike PUBG, Fortnite’s Battle Royale has its own awesome survival mechanism that allows you to survive with style. Players will be equipped with a pickaxe that lets a melee-battle to occur right after they land. With that pickaxe, you don’t need to worry so much even after not having the luck to get a weapon from a house or building that has been quickly looted by other players. You can lure them to get near you and start running in a circle while hitting them with that pickaxe until they die in humiliation.

Besides using the pickaxe as a weapon, it also allows players to harvest resources to build things. An empty house can be very useful to gain woods by destroying it with your pickaxe. Once you get enough woods, you will be able to build your own temporary base. You can build with different materials such as bricks and metals. The concept is pretty simplistic and doesn’t go beyond logic. If you want metal, get it from a car. If you want bricks, get it from a bricked wall. There are no such features offered in PUBG and this is one of those reasons why people find this game more fun and unique.

Overall, the Fortnite’s Battle Royale is amazing. The graphics deliver a great vibe to the players as if the game is designed by Pixar. Everything in the game is pleasing to watch. The surroundings are indeed cartoonish but they are mostly used to execute gory actions toward others. You can build traps in a house and have others unknowingly fall for it. The traps are deadly and most likely to kill your target instantly. The only downside about this game is that there are no functional vehicles to ride with. Players have to run for their lives when the map starts to shrink.

Fortnite’s Battle Royale is now free to play on consoles and pc. It has always been a free-to-play game since its early release. You can download the game from Epic Games official website without having to pirate it from any illegal sites because it is completely free.
