The next season of Square Enix’s multiplayer shooter Foamstars will be starting real soon. Titled Groovy Disco, the season will commence on March 8, or more precisely on March 9, 10 AM JST (9 AM Malaysia Time, +8 GMT).
Foamstars Season 2 Groovy Disco will introduce a new Foamstar (character), Coiff Guy. Previously teased in the Happy FriYay Party event, the character can be acquired for free in Tier 31 of the Season Pass, or immediately by purchasing the Premium Pass.
Three more missions, Missions 4-6, will be added to the Foamstars Missions in Season 2, including a boss battle against Dark Ramzey.
Here are the limited-time events in Foamstars Season 2 Groovy Disco:
- Rank Party. Earn Rank Points in Ranked Party to enter Rank-Up Trials. Limited-time events that change with each season.
- Ranked Party: Lonestar (solo) (March 12-19)
- Ranked Party: Tribe-Vibe (party) (April 5-8)
- Extreme Party
- All Coiff Guy Party – Every player plays as Coiff Guy (March 23-25)
- Super Duel Party – 1v1 matches (March 30-April 1)
- Happy Friyay Party
- Weekends only. Try out new Foamstar (character) coming next season (March 15-16, April 4-6)
Foamstars is out now on PS4 and PS5.
