Final Fantasy VII Remake Sales Pass 7 Million

Three years since the launch of Final Fantasy VII Remake, as of May 2023, Square Enix’s bold new reimagining of the 1997 seminal RPG has sold seven million copies.

This is 7 million copies across physical shipments and digital purchases worldwide, and includes sales of the next-gen version of the game: Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade.

With Final Fantasy VII Rebirth coming this February, there’s literally millions of fans anticipating the release of the second game in this trilogy. A trilogy “remaking” Final Fantasy VII.

But the sales for FFVII Remake should still go up. Square Enix is also offering a Final Fantasy Remake & Rebirth Twin Pack, available for pre-order digitally on PlayStation. This will give players immediate access to FFVII Remake (and Intergrade if you’re playing on PS5).

If you’re excited to see how big FFVII Rebirth is, and haven’t played FFVII Remake yet, you should. There’s still time.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is available on PS4. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is available on PS5 and PC.
