How Metaphor: ReFantazio Calendar And Time System Works

Sega and Atlus revealed some more info for its upcoming RPG Metaphor: ReFantazio, the new game from Studio Zero comprised of veterans of the Persona series.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is taking a page from Persona in that there’s a calendar and time system. The protagonist enlist themselves into the race to elect a new king (after the previous one died) to save the prince from a curse, and that will take a half-year journey across the lands of the United Kingdom of Euchronia to gather supporters.

You are free to spend time visiting locales and exploring dungeons, but there’s deadlines to meet. If it’s anything like the previous three mainline Persona games, expect to make decisions on what activity to commit to time to.

A new screenshot also reveals that the name of the days in the world of Metaphor is different to ours. Arboursday, Metalsday and Idelsday are the three named days spotted.

Metaphor: ReFantazio will be out on October 11 for the PS4, PS5, PC (Steam, Windows) and Xbox Series X|S.
