Square Enix has finally launched Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on Xbox Series X|S, PC via Microsoft Store (“Xbox PC”) as well as on Nintendo Switch 2.
This is the first of a trilogy of games that constitutes the remake of Final Fantasy VII. Integrade is the version specifically launched on PS5 and later on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), featuring the base game and the story DLC Episode Intermission.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Streamline Progression Feature
FFVII Remake Intergrade has also added a Streamline Progression feature. These are quality-of-life toggles to make the game stupidly easy, in the way video games cheats used to be. This includes toggles for always full HP/MP, infinite items (for most items), and all attacks dealing the maximum 9,999 damage.
All the options on the Streamline Progression feature for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade are:
- Constant Max HP
- Constant Max MP
- Limit Gauge Always Full
- ATB Gauge Always Full
- Constant Max Damage
- 2x EXP and 3x AP Gain’
- Easy Weapon Ability Acquisition (learn weapon abilities on equip)
- Constant Max Gil
- Constant Max Recovery Items
- Max Materia Levels
Streamline Progression comes included in the new releases on Xbox and Switch 2, but existing platforms also get this feature as well via an update. Long gone are the days where Square Enix take their sweet time to get their staggered game releases to have feature parity (see Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, which also launch on Xbox and Switch late, with new features not seen in the initial PlayStation and PC releases).
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on Xbox and Switch 2 features a demo for anyone interested to try out the first chapter.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Pre-Order Bonus, Special Physical Switch 2 Bonus
Early digital purchases of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on Xbox, Microsoft Store and Switch 2 before January 31 will include a copy of the original Final Fantasy VII. The Final Fantasy VII remake trilogy doesn’t necessarily replace the beloved 1997 seminal classic, and it’s still worth playing despite its aged graphics.
The first run of physical Switch 2 editions of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade includes a Magic: The Gathering—Final Fantasy Play Booster Pack, which makes this version potentially more valuable in the long run should the random set of cards included contain a rare and sought-after copy that the trading card game community rates highly. That said, it’s the same MTG booster pack that you can get at a hobby shop, don’t expect to necessarily get a Final Fantasy VII card.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on Xbox Series X|S, PC (Microsoft Store), and Switch 2 launches on January 22. The game is already available on PS5 and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store). Check out our review of Final Fantasy VII Remake, the original release for PS4, here.
