The EA Sports FIFA Online 3 SEA Open Championship 2017 will see national champions of 1v1 players from seven countries duke it out. Taking place in Hanoi, Vietnam from 15-16 September, these players will be playing for a piece of the VND 500 million (RM94,000) prize pool.
The seven countries that will be participating in the SEA Open Championship are Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, China, South Korea and Indonesia.
Ryan ‘FDGxGA1’ Kan will be playing for Malaysia. He is currently in top form, bagging home wins at the Sungei Wang Championship, Selangor Cyber Games, GSC Cyber Games and Fantasy Cup: Road to Vietnam 2017.
For Singapore, it is Fardeen ‘Fardinho’ Hussein who will be taking the mantle. Before his breakout victory in the Fantasy Cup: Road to Vietnam 2017 qualifiers, he had a third place finish in the National Championships.
“Ryan (FDGxGA1) and Fardinho have been in stellar form,” commented Fikri Rizal, Garena Malaysia’s Game Operations Associate.
“For Ryan, he aims to add more titles to his growing list of achievements in 2017 whereas Fardinho’s progress could see him spring up a few surprises which makes for a great round of matches coming our way. ”
