The Beta for Fallout 76’s now has a date and it’s coming quite soon.
Along with the in-game intro trailer, Bethesda has dated down October 23 as the starting date for their “Break-It Early Test Application”, a week early for Xbox One owners and October 30 for PS4 and PC.
But there are catches, the first is that you’ll have to pre-order the game first to get the Beta codes.
The second is that, unlike the normal betas (like in Black Ops 4 or Battlefield V), the servers won’t be on 24/7 but only on specific time-frames as Bethesda wants to “stress test and break the game” and get as many people as possible playing at the same time for 4-8 hours. It will go on right until close to the game’s launch. An interesting take on doing a Beta test, that’s for sure. It’s going to be interesting to see how this pans out.
Fallout 76 will release for Xbox One, PS4 and PC on November 14.
