EA Teases Battlefield 2042’s Hazard Zone, A Cooperative Hunt And Run Mode With A Weather Twist

EA have already showcase the two modes that will be coming to their first person shooter, Battlefield 2042, with the final one, Hazard Zone being a mystery to Battlefield fans… until now.

Hazard Zone is a mode where a team of 4 players are dropped into a map and are tasked to find data drives within points of the location and extract before the weather turns in a hazard.

This mode is said to be a sort of combination of Escape From Tarkov and Hunt: Showdown, where the goal isn’t to be the last team standing but rather the first two teams to extract with the data successfully would be declared the winners. With the 2nd place team running to extract from the map during the ensuring Weather chaos, which will includes tornadoes and a meteor shower, as seen in the trailer.

So far, it sounds quite interesting and perhaps might makes it quite an unique addition to this multiplayer only title.

Battlefield 2042 is set to launch on November 19 for PlayStation and Xbox consoles, along with PC via Steam, Origin and Epic Games.
