The latest news on DICE’s Battlefield 2042 newest game mode have been unveiled, and it includes a bit of manic creativity amongst the Battlefield community thanks to the new Battlefield Portal.
It’s basically a huge community sandbox where content from previous Battlefield titles (Specifically 1942, Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3) can be used to create their own game modes via pre-made levels and asset.
Much like Halo Forge mode, it’s basically up to the players to create modes that are fun or even weird because the developers won’t balance it, ever.
Battlefield 2042 is set to launch on October 22, 2021 for PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
