Diablo IV, Redfall, Forza Horizon 5, The Finals Getting Nvidia DLSS 3 Support

Nvidia has announced a bunch more games to support its new DLSS 3 technology, available on Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 Series graphics cards.

Upcoming titles like Diablo IV, Redfall and The Finals will launch with the upscaling/image-reconstruction tech available.

Forza Horizon 5, a game already available right now, will add DLSS 3 support on March 28, which is a day ahead of the release of the Rally Adventure expansion.

Redfall will also include Nvidia Reflex, which reduces system latency for faster responses and less lag. A post-launch update will add ray-tracing effects.

The Finals, the free-to-play shooter by Embark Studios, will also have Reflex as well as DLSS 3, and ray-traced global illumination (RTXGI). The game is currently in closed beta, but has all the features right now.

But you have to wait for the full launch of Diablo IV to check out DLSS 3. The version in the open beta and early access open beta doesn’t have the features yet. Also, the ARPG will support Reflex, and ray tracing will be added post-launch.

DLSS 3 not only can upscale graphics to a higher resolution (DLSS Super Resolution), but also can upscale framerates (DLSS Frame Generation). The results right now are mixed- UI can be a bit blurry if you use DLSS 3, but the tech, powered by Nvidia’s AI supercomputer, will continue to improve.

Nvidia DLSS 3 will also be integrated into Unreal Engine 5.2 via a plugin. This should make the tech more accessible for devs to implement, and as a result, will see more games supporting DLSS 3. Currently, not counting the mentioned games, there are 28 games with DLSS 3 support, with 270 games supporting some kind of DLSS in general.

Nvidia continues to bet big on ray tracing and its AI-powered graphics generation.
