We never asked for this. Playstation Asia is offering the same free games as other regions for its PS Plus subscribers next month, and it involves brooding protagonists with gravelly voices. The biggest title is of course Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Eidos Montreal’s 2016 immersive sim (which means it’s an FPS/RPG hybrid). The game may not see a sequel anytime soon, but this is the best time to see what Adam Jensen has to face after the demise of the golden age for augmentation, seen in its last game Human Revolution.

If you prefer a more known quantity, Telltale’s take on the Batman series is also available for free. That includes all of the episodes of the first season. Horror platformer Uncanny Valley and one extra game, Starblood Arena, closes out the three PS4 games available free for active PS Plus subscribers.
Bioshock Infinite and Sacred 3 is also available for the PS3.
It’s a strong selection of games as Sony is kicking start 2018 with a bang. This should convince many people to keep on paying for that subscription. The games will be available on January 11.
