Destiny 2 Expansions Also Coming To Xbox Game Pass For PC

The three Destiny 2 expansions (Forsaken, Shadowkeep and the upcoming Beyond Light) are headed to Xbox Game Pass. Curiously, it was not specified whether this is limited to only Xbox consoles, or also coming to Xbox Game Pass For PC.

As Gamerant spotted, the Xbox Game Pass Twitter account has mentioned that there are plans to add Destiny 2’s expansions coming to PC as well, later in 2021.

Destiny 2 is now free-to-play on all platforms, including PC via Steam. However, for those who want to keep up with all the new content, developers Bungie are now making yearly expansions a thing. Following Beyond Light’s release later this November, two more expansions will be coming in 2021 and 2022.

Having it on Game Pass means you can just grab a subscription instead of buying a new expansion for around RM100 every year. Xbox Game Pass won’t include all content of Destiny 2 (seasonal content still requires additional purchase). Still, it’s a great deal for those who are subscribed to Game Pass but cannot commit with buying the annual expansions.

Destiny 2 is in a good state right now, and those jumping in for the first time can have a good time all for free. However, the steep fees needed to keep up with all the seasonal and annual content are still too much outside of the most hardcore of players.
