COD Warzone Nukes Old Map, But Adds Retro Version Of The Same Map

It ends in an explosion.

Call of Duty Warzone has been teasing a map refresh way back during the Start of it’s 2nd year, with Zombies hordes scatter all about the map and a ticking progress bar within the Bunkers of Verdansk.

So during a two day in-game event, Activision and Raven Software celebrate the new season of this multiplayer mode with… a Map nuking.

And in it’s place is the 1984 variant of the Verdansk map, which relates to the recent Black Ops Cold War game, both period accurate and makes sense within the game’s story too.

It includes some interesting tweaks to the graphics within the game, that not only makes it more colorful, but also help players seek out those hard to see Operators (Looking at you, Roze).

All in all, quite interesting for this Battle Royale shooter. The Season 3 of Call of Duty Warzone is now available on all platforms.
