Borderlands 3 gets a proper update today. The update adds the first seasonal event, Bloody Harvest (basically for Halloween) which was detailed before. Bloody Harvest is live now until December 5th, so plenty of time to get into the spooky mood and get to the new area: Heck.
The update also brings a plethora of additions. For console players, photo mode which was available on PC at launch has now arrived, alongside support for the Twitch Echocast extension. There are some much-needed fixes for the split-screen mode, including a fix regarding sounds and UI.
The blog post also outlines several things that will be coming to Borderlands 3. A much-requested increase in bank vault size to store gear is coming. Buffs for Vault Hunter companions (Fl4k’s pets, Moze’s Iron Bear and Zane’s Digi-Clone), skippable cutscenes and improvements to Mayhem Mode (Mayhem Mode level 4, Mayhem Mode 2.0) are also in the cards.
This week’s update also includes a hotfix/micropatch, which again addresses various small fixes and updated one gun balance. The recently nerfed Flakker shotgun now has 1 ammo capacity instead of 5 so it won’t swallow up too much ammo for each shot- which uses all the ammo in the mag now.
Borderlands 3 is good. If you’re not convinced check our review here.
