Borderlands 3 Getting Boosted Legendary Drops On Bosses This Week

Get the hoe, it's farming time

Gearbox Software is celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the Borderlands franchise with five weeks of events for Borderlands 3. Beginning today and lasting the whole week, bosses will have a more likely chance to drop specific legendary guns or a legendary class mod. If you’re farming for these bad boys, this week is the best time to do so.

Here is the list of bosses and what they are dropping. Note these are not guaranteed drops:

  • Mouthpiece – Gatling Gun
  • KillaVolt – Brainstormer
  • Gigamind – Nagata
  • Katagawa Ball – Rectifier
  • Katagawa – Legendary class mods (all Vault Hunters)
  • Rampager – Kill-o’-the-Wisp
  • Warden – Echo
  • GenIVIV – Ten Gallon
  • Aurelia – Creeping Death
  • Graveward – Earworm
  • Pain and Terror – Legendary class mods (all Vault Hunters)
  • Troy – Nova Berner
  • Tyreen – Bitch

The Brainstormer shotgun is a good one to get, as it fires pretty fast and deals shock damage that can connect to close enemies and bring them even closer. The Ten Gallon is a better version of guns with legs- guns that hover. On reload, one copy of it will hover and be at your side to shoot enemies. And the Gatling Gun is a Jakobs assault rifle that won’t kill your fingers- it fires like a regular gun, just hold the trigger and do big damage.

The class mod drops are the best part, however. So if you’re at level cap 50 already, go farm those.

The Borderlands Anniversary Celebration is a five-week=long celebration, with new stuff to do each week. Alongside the increased legendary drop this week, here’s what to expect for Week 2-5.

  • Week 1 (October 1-7): Bonus Boss Loot!
  • Week 2 (October 8-14): Rare Spawn Hunt!
  • Week 3 (October 15-21): Show Me the Eridium!
  • Week 4 (October 22-28): Mayhem on Twitch!
  • Week 5 (October 29 – November 4): Spooky Surprise!

Week 5 is most likely when Bloody Harvest, Borderlands 3’s first limited-time event content, goes live.
