BMX Bikes, Rocket Bikes, Rocket Skis And More Coming To Riders Republic

Open-world extreme sports game Riders Republic has outlined what to expect content-wise in its first year of post-launch support. Like many other Ubisoft games, Year 1 will be one of many, with content coming to free players and those that purchase the Year 1 Pass.

Year 1 will be divided into 4 seasons: the pre-season, Season 1, Season 2 and Season 3.

Pre-season will see four multiplayer modes on offer, the 64-player (or half of that on PS4/Xbox One consoles) Mass Race, Tricks Battle, Free For All and Versus.

Season 1 will add the Winter Bash, a seasonal progression where you can unlock rewards for doing limited-time multiplayer events.

Season 2 adds the multiplayer mode Showdown, a 6v6 affair where you have to collect and bank gems more than the other team.

Season 3 adds the BMX sport. Riders Republic will have mountain bikes and road bikes on launch, but if you want to go full tricky with the versatile bike, you’ll have to wait near the end of Year 1. And also get the Year 1 Pass. The BMX sport Add-on, which also adds a whole new career progression, is only for those that buy the pass, included in the more expensive editions of the game.

The Year 1 Pass includes the mentioned BMX bikes, but also 8 other “exotic kits”. These are wild variants of a familiar sport. Fancy riding a rocket bike or a rocket ski? These two, and six other exotic kits, will only be available to use in the open world if you purchase the pass. Though other players can still get to sample the two rocket-powered contraptions in other multiplayer modes.

Also, expect a few packs of cosmetic bundles only for Year 1 Pass owners.

Riders Republic is set to release on October 28 for the PS4, PS5, PC (Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Store), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
