2025 Refresh Of Samsung Odyssey Monitors Now Available In Malaysia

Samsung announced the release of its latest refresh of Odyssey gaming monitors now available in Malaysia.

The 2025 Samsung Odyssey Monitors consists of three different monitors with three different selling points: a 3D monitor, an ultrawide monitor and a normal flat 4K monitor.

The Odyssey 3D (G90XF) is a 27″ monitor is designed for glassless 3D gaming. It has “advanced eye-tracking technology” and a proprietary lenticular lens to make the images literally pop in 3D.

Samsung is collaborating with game developers to bring 3D support to select titles. Outside of Nexon’s upcoming release The First Berserker: Khazan, Samsung has also partner up with another South Korean developer in the form of Neowiz. Lies Of P, out now with a new DLC coming in Q3 this year, will also support 3D gaming on Samsung Odyssey 3D monitor.

The actual showstopper of the trio is the Samsung Odyssey G9 (G91F), an ultrawide monitor. And this 49″ Dual QHD (5120 × 1440) screen with a 100R curvature is proper wide.

It’s so wide that it could literally display two screens from different devices (say a PC and a gaming console), either side-by-side (Picture-by-Picture) or a small screen layering on top of another (Picture-in-Picture). Top that off with a 144Hz refresh rate, VESA Display HDR 600 cert, Samsung’s own HDR10+ Gaming tech and you get a really, really wide monitor that’s also a dual-monitor setup.

And for those who prefer a no-nonsense, simple display, the Samsung Odyssey G8 (G81SF) is no slouch. The monitor comes in either 27″ or 32″ in size, but it’s a 4K monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate, a first for Samsung. The QD-OLED display has VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400, 250 nit brightness and support for both AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync, so it’s not just a pretty screen, it can also keep up with the high frame rate gaming demands.

Interested buyers of any of the three monitors can register their interest here from March 24 to April 6 for a RM300 e-voucher, which can be redeemed for select monitors during the pre-order period (April 7-20).

Samsung hasn’t revealed the prices of the 2025 Odyssey gaming monitors yet.
