The next update for Hoyoverse’s free-to-play action-RPG Zenless Zone Zero has been revealed. The urban fantasy story continues in Update 1.6 “Among The Forgotten Ruins” as a new story chapter will be added involving auctions, the military and big revelations.
Well, it would’ve been big, but long-time players might have connected the two dots together in regards to our mysterious amnesiac Agent, Anby. Why does she seems to have the moveset of a soldier, and just so happens looks like Soldier 11, who brandishes a similar sword and suspiciously similar moveset that’s also part of the military faction Obol Squad? And now we know for sure.
It’s not a spoiler, since it’s the first thing Hoyoverse reveals at the start of the new teaser trailer:
Three new Agents will be available to pull (if you’re lucky) in ZZZ Update 1.6. Though technically it’s two new characters, the other is an S-Rank version of Anby: Soldier 0- Anby.
Pulchra Fellini, featured in a previous story chapter, is now a playable agent joining as part of Sons Of Calydon. The biker faction now has six Agents, the biggest in the game so far.
And the smallest faction so far, Obol Squad is finally bolstered another Agent joining. Alongside new Anby is Trigger, a sniper. As such, she has a new way of fighting unlike other characters, she can entire a crouched position and take aim, third-person shooter style.

Looks like Update 1.6 for Zenless Zone Zero will be heavy on new content and story, but not much else. Previous updates had brought some more quality of life changes.
Zenless Zone Zero Update 1.6 goes live on March 12. The game is available on PS5, PC, iOS and Android.
