Yakuza: Like A Dragon Latest Update Fixes Bug Where Enemy Weakness Was Not Showing

If you’ve been watching videos of Yakuza 7 (the Japanese release) and then play its English version, Yakuza: Like A Dragon, you might have noticed something.

The Japanese version shows a “weak” label when you target on enemies that are weak to your chosen attack. This is not seen in the English version on launch.

You can see some comments on this YouTube video by Rozalin (who played through the Japanese release) asking if the enemy weakness label is an option, as they haven’t seen it in Yakuza: Like A Dragon.

That was apparently a bug, and a new update (version 1.03 on PS4) has just arrived to fix that. Now you’ll automatically see if an enemy is weak to your chosen attack instead of needing to memorise what they are. This one of the undocumented “general bug fixes” listed on the patch notes.

Update 1.03 also adds the Upstart Assistance Pack 2 which adds these free items:

  • Nurse Costume (for Nanba)
  • Comedy Masquerade
  • Ragged Cloth
  • Metal Wire
  • Nail
  • Cheap Plastic
  • Toughness Light
  • Tauriner

The new update should also be available on PC (Steam), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
