Yakuza 5, the last of the trilogy of games in the Yakuza Collection, is out now. If you purchased the Yakuza Remastered Collection before, which includes Yakuza 3 and 4, you should now be able to download the game on Playstation Store. It can also available as a standalone purchase for RM119.
Since it’s a Sega game we’re talking about, we have to specify that this is for the English release, and it is available in Asia.
Yakuza 5 ups the ante from Yakuza 4’s 4 playable characters to 5. Throughout the story, you will play as Kiryu as a taxi cab driver (complete with racing mini-games), Akiyama and Saejima returning from Yakuza 4, newcomer Tatsuo Shinada, and also Kiryu’s surrogate daughter Haruka. No, you don’t beat up dudes as Haruka, but you follow her journey to be an idol, which includes rhythm mini-games.
The release of Yakuza 5 means that the Yakuza Remastered Collection is now complete. And also, you can now play all the numbered titles, from 0 to 6, on the PS4.
