Xbox Series X And S Launches On November 10

The dawn of the new console generation is upon us.

Microsoft has now revealed the two important information we needed about their next-gen console(s). We have a price, and also, a release date.

Both the Xbox Series X and the newly revealed Xbox Series S will launch on November 10. With two very different prices.

The Xbox Series X is the flagship new Xbox for this gen, and with all that beefy Zen 2 CPU and 12 TFLOPs of compute power comes at an estimated retail price of $499 USD (roughly RM 2,081).

Meanwhile, the cheaper Xbox Series S starts at $299 USD (roughly RM 1,247). While cheaper and designed for 1440p resolution gaming, the Series S still has all the bells and whistles that make this console next-gen: hardware-based ray-tracing, fast SSD, even the proprietary Seagate Storage Expansion Card. Of course, it’s compatible with all Xbox Series X games, and has back-compatibility with all past Xbox titles.

As you can expect, various games that were supposed to be an Xbox Series launch title have now locked a release date of November 10. This includes Yakuza: Like A Dragon (launching early for Xbox Series), Dirt 5, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (which now releases one week earlier) and more.

This sounds all exciting, but not as much if you’re in Southeast Asia. Outside of Singapore, Xbox really aren’t present in the region. But if you really need a black fridge or a boombox as your console of choice, you now have a date and price for it.
