Wreckfest 2, Bugbear Entertainment’s next car game, is getting its first content update since its Early Access release.
The trailer is narrated in what’s hilariously dubbed as “Rally English” (the narrator has a thick accent which we presume to be of Scandinavian region, considering Bugbear is based in Finland). But it’s on point in revealing all the new content and features being added to the banger racing game.
Two new cars are being added to Wreckfest 2 in this first content update, bringing the total cars available to six, which are:
- “A slick Euro sports sedan” (it looks like a legally distinct Beemer)
- Rammer, the legendary American sedan car (returning from Wreckfest)
Two new tracks are added to Wreckfest 2 in this first content update, bringing a total of five locations plus 1 Testing Grounds map, which are:
- “A brand-new Rallycross circuit set in Central Europe” (1 route)
- Finncross (returning from Wreckfest, “completely overhauled for tight-turn madness”) (2 routes)
In addition to the new content, Wreckfest 2 is getting the following features:
- Adjustable field-of-view
- Hide driver and in-car wheel (for those with steering wheel and rig setups)
- Rumble support on controllers
- Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR upscaling support
- Better friend invites
- Server seratch
- New player list HUD
Wreckfest 2 is currently in Early Access, and it’s still barebones in terms of content when compared to the fleshed-out release of its predecessor. This is to be expected, and the team continues to be listening to feedback on what the playerbase want out of this title.
This new content update for Wreckfest 2 is now live. The game’s available in Early Access on PC (Steam).
