Where do the winds meet next? Everstone Studio is celebrating the half-anniversary of the global launch of Where Winds Meet by sharing a content roadmap of what’s to come.
The reveal was hosted by the one and only Goose Overlord.
Most notable of it all is the upcoming release of the second expansion, Imperial Palace. After the adventures in Hexi, the game’s first post-launch expansion, Where Winds Meet will see players explore the royal court and grounds of 1 million square meter, 1km² if you will, in size. It’s roughly the same size as the city of Kaifeng which as it is already massive.
Imperial Palace hosts over 3,000 NPCs and various factions with conflicting relationship between them. Also, expect to learn more about royal life and the conspiracies surrounding it as part of a “massive narrative foreshadowing.”
Alongside the new map and story, Where Winds Meet Imperial Palace expansion will include the following additions and limited time offers:
- Limited-time Panda Cosmetic for 60 Echo Beads (RM5) from May 19-June 17
- Homesteads System: build a home and farm in Qinghe
- Two new modes
- Martial Path Domain – 5-player co-op PVE.
- Ancient Tombs – New exploration mode where “players into the pitch-black depths of ancient tombs, where you must eliminate rivals to secure the ultimate loot.”
- New weapon: Gauntlets. To feature unique martial arts path
- Furry companions
On top of this all, Everstone Studio is making a commitment in making the global version of Where Winds Meet the best it can be through over 100 updates, including reducing the amount of grinding required for progression and weapon balancing.
Other upcoming features that will benefit global players include the addition of new servers in Australia, South America, and the Middle East.
