When we heard that Gran Turismo Sport is set to launch in November, it was a major surprise. Developers Polyphony Digital has a rep of having their games announcing a far away release date only to further delay it as development goes on. But then a delay happened, with a vague 2017 release window being given.
But based on the report of NAG Online, we might see the game soon enough. In January 2017 no less. The outlet got a hands-on preview of the game at rAge 2016, the biggest gaming convention in South Africa. The preview is pretty in-depth but the kicker here is where the article ends with a mention of a release date, and includes support for both the PS4 Pro and PS VR on launch.
No official word from Sony just yet on the release date, so either this could be a slip of the tongue or not a reliable source. We will probably learn more of GT Sport at PSX coming this November if this is true or not.
