Do you love organising your in-game inventory? How about putting that skill to the test in a game based entirely on arranging loot but framed as a PVP auto battler?
Indie devs 1TK Games’ debut game, Total Loadout, is precisely that. Pick a champion based on legendary heroes and villains across time (including the likes of Alice, Sun Wukong, Robin Hood and Tanuki), and start strategically place your weapons and items in the inventory which behaves like the inventory system in ARPGs (Diablo, Path of Exile, and the like).
Then, you’ll be matched into an asynchronous PVP match against another player’s loadout and see who comes out on top. How you pile your gear and items determines what sort of attacks your loadout dishes out, and there’s plenty of ways to arrange and craft your set of items for that perfect loadout.
If you love doing some inventory tetris (or inventory management, to use the non-trademark-infringing phrase), Total Loadout might be something of your interest. The async PVP means you’re not actively playing against another person at any time, so you can take all the time you want to sort your inventory build.
Total Loadout will release a demo later this month.
Total Loadout doesn’t have a release date yet, but it’s coming to PC via Steam.
