Borderlands spin-off Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands has now revealed all six of its new classes for the upcoming looter-shooter.
The two classes are called Graveborn and Spore Warden.
Graveborn has a risk-reward playstyle thanks to their Dark Magic powers. Their action skills cost life to use. But they also get to make use of Kill Skills (unique buffs triggered after a kill) and have a Demi-Lich as a companion. The Demi-Lich casts a different spell on its own when a Graveborn casts a spell.
Meanwhile, the Spore Warden is Wonderland’s interpretation of the Archer class. They can summon a mystical bow to attack enemies from afar. They can buff other players. They also have access to a companion, the Mushroom. Spore Warden can also use the power of wind and the power of passing winds.
As it stands, the six classes can be split into the usual RPG archetype – warrior (Brr-Zerker, Clawbringer), rouge (Stabbomancer, Spore Warden) and mage (Spellshot, Graveborn). And each has a class that lets you have a companion or pet (Clawbringer, Spore Warden, Graveborn).
Publisher 2K also revealed how multi-classing, new for Wonderlands, work. You have to pick one main class (that can’t be changed) for your Fatemaker. Later, you can pick a secondary class.
Each class has a Class Feat (always-on passives), two Action Skills to choose (but only can pick one to equip at a time) and one skill tree.
Once you multi-class, you have four different Action Skills. If you opt for both classes being ones with companions, they’ll both appear alongside you.
For balancing reasons, you won’t be able to max out both skill trees, so picking and choosing how you spend your skill points remain crucial. Skill points can be refunded using in-game gold (like Borderlands), and the ability to switch secondary classes will only available after you clear the campaign. Having multiple character saves is still a feature in Wonderlands.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is still set to launch on March 25 on the PS4, PS5, PC (Epic Games Store), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. The PC version will be released outside of Epic within the same year, later in 2022.
