Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Glutton’s Gamble DLC Out Now

Another month, another new DLC release for looter-shooter Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. The second DLC, part of Vesper’s Mirror Of Mystery, sees yous taking down the Sand Witch Imelda who’s cooking up a potion (not a sandwich) that gives her extra strengths and “voracious appetite”.

The foes in this bite-sized DLC are all food-related. Expect shrooms, crabs, and skeletal Gingerdread to shoot. Imelda the boss fight will also take on different forms during this launch period, as when will change into more tougher forms (as higher difficulty levels) every week for the next three weeks. Tougher forms drop new Legendary gear. So the new loot will drop over time it looks like.

Here’s the tentative schedule for Imelda’s changing forms:

  • First Form: May 19 at 9:30 AM PT
    • New Garlic Breath Legendary spell and Precious Jamstone Legendary ring
  • Second Form: May 26 at 9:30 AM PT
    • New Salt and Battery Legendary melee weapon and Lich’s Augur Legendary ward
  • Third Form: June 2 at 9:30 AM PT
    • New Boltlash Legendary spell and Miasmic Chainmail Legendary armor
  • Final Form: June 9 at 9:30 AM PT
    • Two new Legendary guns (Oil & Spice and Butterboom) and Barboload Legendary amulet

Just like the previous DLC, expect Glutton’s Gamble to be just a short run of arena maps, specifically just five new rooms, which later get added to the Chaos Chamber endgame mode’s pool of maps.

You’ll need to be at least level 13 to access the DLC located in Dreamveil Overlooks, situated just outside of Brighthoof, the game’s main hub.

The DLC offering for Wonderlands has been lacklustre compared to previous Borderlands games offering new campaigns and bigger zones, so if you haven’t gotten the Season Pass or thinking of getting the DLC, maybe just wait till the right price before doing so.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands itself is a pretty fun jaunt though, bringing in lots of new improvements and features to the series.
