The Sims 4 Growing Together Expansion Pack Releasing This March, Adds More Social Dynamics, Midlife Crises, Bikes

The Sims 4’s first expansion pack of 2023 has been announced. The Growing Together expansion pack is focused on adding more social dynamics as well as improving the lifelong journey of each Sim.

With the Growing Together expansion, Sims will have a natural social chemistry with each other. Some will hit off straight away while others just naturally clash. A Sim’s preferences will determine who they are socially compatible with, and who will likely be their enemies.

On top of that, family bonds can also be affected, you’ll either see a united happy family or one filled with drama depending on how the family dynamics shake out.

Sims will also grow as a… Sim as they get older, where key choices and milestones will shape what kind of Sim they will be. Personality traits can be changed or unlocked throughout their life, and Sims will now have to deal with midlife crises, as well as having family members requesting to move in with them.

Plus, the Growing Together expansion will include one new world, San Sequoia, located along an ocean bay.

There are plenty of new objects shown in the trailer, including bicycles, baby harnesses, a tree house that requires Sims to build together, and mahjong tables.

Looks like this expansion pack is geared toward long-term saves where Sims live a full lifespan. It’s been a while since some family-oriented gameplay mechanics have been expanded, and this should pair well with the upcoming infant stage of life to be added in a free update for the base game.

The Sims 4 Growing Together expansion pack will be out on March 16 for the PS4, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, EA App), Mac, and Xbox One.
