The PUBG SEA Championship is one of the first big tournament for PlayerUnknonwn’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) being held across Southeast Asia, with six nations- Indonesia, The Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and Thailand- participating. The national qualifiers have all been conducted except for Thailand which will commence this weekend on the 22nd June.
The Regional Finals will take place inn the MCC Hall, The Mall Bangkapi, Thailand from June 23rd to 24th, pitting the top four-man squads from each qualifiers to grab a piece of the $100,000 USD prize pool, the winner taking a big chunk of $40,000 USD. The smallest prize is for 12th place at $1,000 USD.
The format is simple, all the squads will be playing twelve matches, with points awarded from how high they finished the match. The winner will be the squad with the overall most points throughout the two-day tournament, which will also be invited to the PUBG Global Invitational set to be held at the Mercedes-Benz Arena, Berlin, Germany this July, which will have a whopping $2,000,000 USD prize pool.
The event is organised by Mineski Events Team (MET), with ASUS ROG and Intel being the main sponsors plus with official endorsement from developers PUBG Corp.

The matches will start at 12PM (+8 GMT) for both days and those can come to Mall Bangkapi and witness the action live for free, with chances to win special goodies.
